How it works

Your complete patient journey from sign-up to ongoing care. Simple, transparent, and guided by licensed professionals every step of the way.

1

Select a treatment and complete your evaluation

Pick a treatment from the Shop page or any Treatment page — both take you straight into the evaluation form. As you complete the medical intake (symptoms, health history, and current medications), you'll also create your Hormones4Less account with your email and a secure password. One streamlined flow, no separate sign-up step.

2

Verify identity and location

Upload a government-issued photo ID to confirm your identity and ensure care is delivered in a state where our providers are licensed.

3

Complete labs if required

Some conditions require recent lab work. If needed, you will receive an order to complete a blood draw at a partner lab near you.

4

Meet with or receive review from a provider

Depending on the treatment, you may have a live video visit or an asynchronous review by a licensed provider in your state.

5

Receive a clinical decision

Your provider reviews everything and makes a clinical decision. Treatment is only prescribed when it is safe and appropriate.

6

Select or confirm the treatment plan

If approved, review your personalized plan, confirm your pharmacy preference, and agree to treatment terms.

7

Pharmacy fulfillment

Your prescription is sent to a licensed pharmacy. The pharmacy prepares and packages your medication discreetly.

8

Delivery

Medication ships directly to your door in plain, discreet packaging. Tracking is provided when available.

9

Follow-up and monitoring

Ongoing check-ins and lab monitoring help your provider track progress and adjust care as needed.

10

Refills

Refills are managed automatically based on your plan and provider instructions. You can also request refills from your patient dashboard.

What to expect

A prescription is not guaranteed

Our providers prescribe medication only when it is medically appropriate and safe. If a provider determines that treatment is not suitable, a prescription will not be issued. You will receive guidance on next steps or alternative options.

What happens when someone is ineligible

If you are not approved for treatment, you will not be charged for medication. Depending on the reason, you may be referred to in-person care or asked to reapply after addressing a specific health concern.

Is the consultation fee refundable?

Consultation fees cover the cost of the clinical review. If a provider determines you are not eligible for treatment, the consultation fee is typically not refunded because the clinical evaluation has already been performed. Please review our Terms of Service for full details.

What if labs are abnormal?

Abnormal results are reviewed by your provider. Depending on the finding, your provider may adjust your treatment plan, request follow-up testing, or refer you to a specialist for in-person evaluation.

Asynchronous vs. synchronous visits

Synchronous visits are live video or phone consultations with a provider. Asynchronous visits rely on a secure messaging-based review of your intake and records without a scheduled appointment. The type of visit depends on the treatment and state requirements.

Typical processing sequence

After you submit your intake and labs (if required), a provider typically reviews your case within a few business days. If approved, the pharmacy usually processes and ships medication within a few additional business days. Exact timing varies by state, lab turnaround, and pharmacy volume.
